Bavarian Constitutional Court, decision of August 14, 1987 (Referendum on sites of nuclear installations)

In the dissenting opinion of one of the judges of the Bavarian Constitutional Court concerning the decision of August 14, 1987, the Land Bavaria has a competence according to the constitution to decide about sites of nuclear installations. Hence it follows that a referendum on this problem has to be permitted. (CW)
Abstract (German)
Nach der abweichenden Meinung eines Richters des Bayerischen Verfassungsgerichtshofes zum Urteil vom 14. August 1987 hat das Land Bayern nach dem Grundgesetz die Kompetenz ueber den Standort von Kernenergieanlagen zu entscheiden. Daraus folge, dass auch ein Volksbegehren zu diesem Problem zulaessig sein muss. (CW)Additional details
