Renal function in beagles receiving high-level renal irradiation
Description
Four beagle dogs with ultrasonic flow cuffs implanted around the renal arteries were given 1500 R exposures to the kidneys in two stages. Clearance tests using sulfanilate and hippuran 131I and renal blood flow measurements were carried out during the 3-month period following irradiation. No changes in blood flow or clearance rates were seen during the study period
