This study constitutes part of an ongoing project on the origin, role and fate of hydrocarbons in the Shatt Al-Arab estuary and North-West Arabian Gulf, and also provides data on seasonal changes of dissolved and particulate hydrocarbons. This study also provides a baseline against which any changes that might occur in the future may be determined. (UK)
