The Communities' aims are as follows: Aims with a special emphasis on industry and energy policies, protection of population and environment and protection against the theft of nuclear material for purposes not authorised. Die Mitteilung enthaelt die Elemente einer gemeinschaftlichen Strategie der Laender der Europaeischen Gemeinschaften zur Wiederaufarbeitung von Kernbrennstoffen. Als Gemeinschaftsziele werden erlaeutert: Industrie- und energiepolitische Ziele, Schutz der Bevoelkerung und der Umwelt und Schutz gegen die Abzweigung von Kernmaterial zu nicht genehmigten Zwecken.
