Gascogne Midi reinforcement (RGM)

Description

The Gascogne Midi reinforcement project aims at building a 61,8 km pipeline with a 900 mm diameter between the cities of Lussagnet (Landes, France) and Barran (Gers, France) with the addition of a compression plant at Barbaira (Aude, France). The Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE) has planned to merge the North and South gas exchanges to eliminate price gaps. With the Gascogne Midi reinforcement project, Terega, the gas operator, meets these goals by increasing transit capacities. This document brings together the construction and exploitation permit applications of the project: brochures presenting the project, the construction permit application file (Ministerial request, technico-economic and financial capabilities of the project owner, non-technical summary of the project (legal aspect, environmental impact, risk analysis)), the technico-economic characteristics of the work, the layout of the pipeline, the hazard assessment study, the environmental impact statement, the Declaration of Public Utility, and the public inquiry file with the opinion of the environmental authority
