Description
Completion of the particle transport study of edge fueled ohmic heated plasmas is approach in and a study of the particle confinement properties of a pellet fueled, ohmic or ECRH plasma would be a natural extension. A study, in collaboration with GAT and IPP Garching, both an ergodic magnetic limiter and an intra-island pump limiter is in progress. If either works, it would be natural to investigate pellet fueling with them. This approach to particle control (i.e. EML and pellets) is the major component in the French Tore Supra Program
