Measurement of spin-exchange effects in electron-hydrogen collisions: 900 elastic scattering from 4 to 30 eV

Description
With use of a Fano-effect polarized electron source and a state selected thermally dissociated hydrogen beam, the interference was measured between the direct and exchange scattering amplitudes for 900 elastic scattering of electrons from atomic hydrogen for energies between 4 and 30 eV
