Investigation of the lanthanum nitrate-ammonium tetrapolyphosphate-water system

Description

The La(NO3)3-(NH4)6P4O13-H2O system is studied using the methods of solubility and pH-metry and also preparatively-analytically. Consequent formation in the system of the phases of variable composition and double salt (NH4)3La3(P4O13)2xnH2O dissolving in the (NH4)6P4O13 excess as a result of complexing is established. Soluble complexes (NH4)3LaP4O13xmH2O are prepared. The compounds separated are investigated using the methods of paper chromatography, thermography and roentgenography
