An intake of C14-labelled dichlorobenzene

  • 1. Radiation Dosimetry Department, Health Physics Division, Nuvia Limited, Harwell, Didcot, Oxfordshire OX11 0TQ (United Kingdom)

Description

An intake of C14 in the form of dichlorobenzene was followed up with 90 spot urine samples over a period of almost 2 weeks. This dataset has been fitted by a model consisting of three exponential terms. The intake and effective dose have been calculated. This case has been used to examine the effects of recent proposals by ICRP concerning the calculation of effective dose and the use of non-standard biokinetic models. (authors)
