Self-consistent structure of the S pair and the D pair in nuclei

Description
A systematic method is devised to determine self-consistently the structure of the correlated S pair and D pair in a state with many such pairs. These pairs are defined to be independent from each other and without seniority mixing. They, however, block each other because of the Pauli principle. The method follows similar lines to the Hartree-Fock method for fermions
