Gamma-ray line features from the Crab Nebula in the energy range 50-2000 keV
- 1. Durham Univ. (UK). Dept. of Physics
Description
Results are presented of an experiment to search for γ-ray lines from the Crab Nebula region in the energy range 50-2000 keV using a cooled intrinsic germanium detector in a sodium iodide anti-coincidence shield. Some evidence for line features is observed at 404.4 and 1049.6 keV. A line at 78.9 keV has also been detected which shows some variability with time. (author)
