Description

For development of a design and a technology of manufacturing of fuel compositions and fuel elements for reactors of the generation IV on the basis of powder mixes of fuel and matrix materials, it is necessary to have an opportunity to determine the optimum size of particles and their share in mixes, and also the size and a volume of pores in an initial condition of fuel compositions. Parameters of a disperse composition packing play important role for formation of a final state of a fuel and also for the operation of a fuel in reactors. Meanwhile, parameters of packing are well-known only for mixes of mono-dispersion fractions. Diameters of their spherical particles must answer the optimum relation. In given report, models of packing of a disperse system with an non-uniform diameter of the particles which can be used for definition of optimum parameters of initial materials and also for an estimation of bulk density and the size of pores of real mixes are offered.
