Description
'Data relating to the environment' is a work of reference containing in concentrated form a large number of so far individually published data presented as sets of information and mostly arranged in graphic form. This facilitates also the interlinking of data from different fields. The data are divided according to ten subject categories: 1) data on energy and national economy; 2) nature and landscape; 3) soil; 4) forest; 5) air; 6) water; 7) refuse; 8) noise; 9) radioactivity; 10) food. They do not constitute an environmental quality report. For the sector radioactivity not only emission and immission data were compiled but also the measuring networks for monitoring natural radiation exposure and many measuring values from air, soil and waters for the year 1980 respectively for the period from 1960 to 1980 are indicated. 'Daten zur Umwelt' ist ein Nachschlagewerk, in dem in konzentrierter Form eine grosse Zahl bisher nur zerstreut veroeffentlichter Daten gebuendelt und meist in Form von Grafiken zusammengestellt wurden. Damit wird auch die Verknuepfung der Daten aus unterschiedlichen Sachbereichen erleichtert. Die Daten sind in zehn Sachgebiete gegliedert: 1) Energie- und Volkswirtschaftliche Daten; 2) Natur und Landschaft; 3) Boden; 4) Wald; 5) Luft; 6) Wasser; 7) Abfall; 8) Laerm; 9) Radioaktivitaet; 10) Nahrung. Sie stellen keinen Umwelt-Qualitaetsbericht dar. Fuer das Gebiet Radioaktivitaet wurden neben Emissions- und Immissionsdaten die Messnetze zur Ueberwachung der natuerlichen Strahlenexposition und viele Messwerte aus Luft, Boden und Gewaessern fuer das Jahr 1980 bzw. fuer den Zeitraum 1960 bis 1980 zusammengestellt.
