Description

Procedures followed by the operator and the safeguarding authorities are described. These procedures included: a) chemical analysis. b) mass spectrometric measurements by five laboratories. c) non-destructive measurements of enrichment using NaI and Ge detectors effected by three teams working in plant environmental conditions. d) surveillance and containment measures. An estimation of the cost of safeguards verification (manpower, samples to be measured, surveillance) is given. (author)
