Two benchmarks for qualification of pressure vessel fluence calculational methodology: PCA and HBR-2
Description
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Draft Regulatory Guide DG-1053, 'Calculational and Dosimetry Methods for Determining Pressure Vessel Neutron Fluence', requires qualification of the methodology for nuclear reactor pressure vessel fluence calculations. One step of the qualification is the analysis of benchmarks. To provide input, which may be used to fulfill part of this step, two benchmarks have been formulated and are briefly described in this paper
