Comments on ''extinct radioactivities: Trapped residuals of presolar grains''
Description
A recent suggestion by Clayton that presolar grains were carriers of radiogenic 129Xe and fissiogenic xenon to the meteorite bodies has been considered in the light of thermal and metamorphic histories of meteorites. It has been concluded that presolar grains could not be the carriers of anomalous xenon to meteorites. Difficulties with interpretation of observed data have also been discussed
