Description
The fission time projection chamber based on GEM process has the characteristics of high detection efficiency and high spatial resolution, which can realize the multi-parameter measurement of fission products. The measurement accuracy of fission time. projection chamber based on GEM process under different conditions was studied. By. using Garfield ++ software, the measurement error of the mass of different fission products in the fission time projection chamber was calculated to be about 4-6 u. And through the track reconstruction of time information, the angle resolution of fission fragments in different working gases was studied. It's found that in working gases with long electron drift time, the fission products have better angular. resolution, and the appropriate working gas, gas pressure and drift electric field strength can be selected in the experiment to measure the fission fragments.
