Radioluminescence investigations with silane modified polyethylene-kaolin compounds

Description

The effect of vinyl and methacryl silane as surface modifiers for kaolin on the structure of high density polyethylene as matrix substances has been investigated. Vinyl silane causes stronger changes of luminescence intensity in the glass temperature region of polyethylene than methacrylsilane. The results suggest the formation of an elastic interface with methacrylsilane. (author)
