Influence of the optical thickness of an emitting and scattering flat layer on characteristics of radiative heat transfer

  • 1. Institute of Applied Physical Problems, Minsk (Russian Federation)

Description

State-of-the-art power plants are characterized by elevated temperatures of working media which largely enhances the importance of radiative heat transfer. It is necessary to investigate special features of the influence of factors on radiative heat transfer for a more correct solution of the problems of radiative heat transfer and the study of the possibility to intensify the latter. In this work, analysis is given for the dependance of density of the radiant flux on a heat-absorbing surface on the optical thickness of a flat emitting layer
