ATLAS computing activities in preparation for data taking
Description
The ATLAS experiment is commissioning its computing framework and infrastructure for data-taking. Various activities are being carried along, mostly to test the current data and computing model, but also in order to provide simulated data for physics studies. In this paper the various aspects of ATLAS distributed computing will be described and analyzed, focusing on the achievements, current status and possible improvements.
