Description
This issue of 'CEA-Saclay, l'Environnement' presents the commented results of the environmental survey performed around the CEA-Saclay nuclear research centre during the year 1999. The centre has a permanent survey system for its liquid and gaseous effluents. The measurements are performed in the air (radon, tritium, radioactivity of aerosols), in the water (tritium, 14C, and 137Cs in rain, surface waters and underground waters) and in bio-indicators (tritium, 137Cs and 131I in grass, fruits, vegetables and milk).
