Destruction of superconductivity by optical radiation and the nonequilibrium resistive states in thin films of the high temperature superconductor YBa2Cu3O7-x
Description
Results are presented of on experimental and theoretical investigation of the nonequilibrium resistive response of thin films of the high temperature semiconductor to laser radiation. A short relaxation time and a long relaxation time in the resistive response of the high temperature superconductor. The effects observed are interpreted on the basis of a model in which allowance is made for inhomogeneous distribution of the order parameter in the films and penetration of the electric field into the strong inhomogeneous region due to the hot quasiparticle effects
