Description
Unit 1 and 2 in IKATA power station, both are two-loop PWRs, have experienced major component replacement. The components are two steam generators (SG) and a reactor pressure vessel closure head (VH) for each plant and were replaced with improved ones. This paper explains the reasons for the replacement and major improvements in the components. (authors)
