Measurement of the branching ratio of the decay KL0→μμ

Description
We observed 117.8 KL0→μμ events after background subtraction of 1.2 events in an experiment to search for the deays KL0→μe and ee at the KEK 12-GeV Proton Synchrotron. Normalizing to the decay KL0→π+π-, the branching ratio B(KL0→μμ)=[7.9±0.6(stat)±0.3 (syste)]x10-9 was obtained
