Mass-Spectrometric Effusion Studies in the Uranium-Urania Two-Phase System

Description
The experimental procedures and the Bendix TOF mass spectrometer were essentially the same as in the mass spectrometric portion of the ARC study. Tungsten effusion cells were loaded with a mixture which consisted, typically, of a 60- to 100-mg uranium bead resting on a 200- to 300-mg disc of sintered urania.
