14 MeV neutron reaction cross sections measurement of 197Au and other nuclei using activation method

Description
Using activation method, the 14 MeV neutron reaction cross sections of 197Au and other nuclei have been measured. At 14.75 MeV incident neutrons, 197Au(n, 2n)196Au cross section is 2175 mb±76 mb. The experimental results are compared with the experimental data of other authors and evaluated data from ENDF/B-6. Some uncertainties have been analyzed with MCNP program. (authors)
