Description

The reduced widths in resonant-state decay channels for 28Si nucleus excitation energies of 17.62 and 17.71 MeV have been measured. The angular particle distributions for Isub(res)sup(π)=2+ have been calculated. Orbital and complete moments of emitted particles and THETA2 reduced widths are evaluated. For the case of alpha-particle emission in the jj-coupling the reduced decay widths of a compound nucleus have been determined. As a result, wave functions have been obtained for which THETAsub(theor)sup(2) are close to THETAsub(exper)sup(2). The experimental data for angular and orbital moments of emitted particles, reduced widths and residual state characteristics have been used to find the configurations and mixing factors appearing in the resonance wave functions. It is concluded that within the decay channels considered it may be assumed that the resonant states have two-particle-two-hole nature with an admixture of particle-hole configurations and collective excitationts
