Description
In the fields of nuclear liability and radiation protection a high degree of harmonization has been achieved. Concerning the licensing procedure, many differences exist in different States. However, harmonization in specific fields could be useful. The safety of nuclear installations is an area which in future bears numerous possibilities for a harmonization of directives and procedures. (CW)

Auf dem Gebiet der nuklearen Haftung und des Strahlenschutzes ist ein hoher Grad an Harmonisierung erreicht. Bezueglich des Genehmigungsverfahrens bestehen eine Reihe von Unterschieden in den verschiedenen Staaten, wobei in bestimmten Bereichen eine Harmonisierung nuetzlich waere. Die Sicherheit von Atomanlagen ist ein Bereich, in dem kuenftig grosse Moeglichkeiten fuer eine Harmonisierung von Regeln und Vorschriften bestehen. (CW)Additional details
