Infrared absorption in thin film of hydrogen-bonded ferroelectrics

Description
The low temperature spectrum of pseudospin waves propagating in ferroelectric KDP thin film is investigated. It is found that one or two surface modes occur. Results concerning infrared absorption are similar to those obtained for spin wave resonance in feromagnetic thin film. (author)
