Emission computer tomography on MAW waste barrels
Description
Automatic translation: This report presents initial experiences and results obtained during characterization work on MAW drums using computer tomography. The work was carried out in collaboration between IRW, ICT and ZAM. It was shown that this method can be used to identify the contours and distribution of radioactive waste in cemented drums.
Abstract (German)
Im vorliegenden Bericht werden erste Erfahrungen und Ergebnisse mitgeteilt, die im Rahmen von Charakterisierungsarbeiten an MAW-Fässern mittels Computer-Tomographie gewonnen wurden. Die Arbeiten wurden in Zusammenarbeit zwischen IRW, ICT und ZAM durchgeführt. Es zeigte sich, daß mit diesem Verfahren die Konturen bzw. die Verteilung strahlender Abfälle in zementierten Fässern erkannt werden koennen.Files
