Description
Heavy water reactors (e.g. CANDU, MZFR) show marked differences in fuelling compared to the common LWR-types. So do HTGR and FBR. This lecture summarizes the main features of these differences, and discusses their consequences. The emphasis is on heavy water reactors for power production. This survey is intended to convey general background information on fuelling, to recollect material of previous courses, and to indicate new developments in this field. (orig./HK)

SWRs (z.B. CANDU, MZFR) sind in der Beschickung ganz anders als normale LWR-Typen. Das gleiche gilt fuer den HTGR und den Schnellen Brueter. Dieser Vortrag fasst die Hauptunterschiede zusammen und diskutiert die Konsequenzen daraus. Die Betonung liegt auf den SWRs fuer die Elektrizitaetserzeugung. Diese Uebersicht ist zur allgemeinen Hintergrundinformation zur Beschickung, zur Zusammenfassung frueherer Kurse und zum Hinweis auf neue Entwicklungen auf diesem Gebiet gedacht. (orig./HK)
