Description

A conservative assessment of effective dose equivalent in 1986 in Slovenia (YU) as a consequence of the Chernobyl accident was done for two population groups; adults and children (10y). The external dose and committed effective dose equivalent for inhalation and ingestion were treated separate. The values of total dose of 0.75 mSv and 1.1 mSv in 1986 were obtained for adults and children respectively with the main contribution due to ingestion
