Surface tension of halide melts

Description
Regularities of surface tension behaviour of molten metal halides at the vapour-melt interface are discussed. Halides of alkali and alkaline earth metals, cadmium, zinc, lead, chlorides of yttrium, uranium and rare earths, fluorides of uranium and thorium are considered as subjects of the investigation. The revealed features of the interface behaviour are attributed to autocomplexe structure of this class of liquids and different ionicity of bonds between their particles
