Coating method and device for inorganic material

Description

Polymer latex comprises fine rubber particles such as styrene-butadiene and vinyl acetate dispersed homogeneously in a solution containing a surfactant, and it has a good wettability with an inorganic material such as wasted pellets. If the inorganic material is immersed in the polymer latex and drawn out from the latex solution and dried, a membrane having fine rubber particles in a closest packing is formed on the surface of the inorganic material. Although the membrane is as thin as about submicron, it has sufficient water proofness and water sealing property, and scarcely be peeled off. In addition, since it is deposited even on the hydrophobic surface of the inorganic material in a state that the polymer particles are dispersed uniformly to the inorganic material, the membrane can completely cover the surface of the inorganic material. Accordingly, interaction between wastes and kneading water for solidification materials is prevented for any kind of wastes, thereby capable of obtaining integral solidification products. (T.M.)
