Optical diagnostics of the indium laser plasma

  • 1. Uzhgorodskij Gosudarstvennyj Univ., Uzhgorod (Ukraine)

Description

Laser plasma of a jet formed by the action of laser radiation on indium surface is studied, the results are presented. Review radiation spectra in the range of 200-600 nm, distribution of relative intensity of indium line radiation (In I, In II) and dynamics of the erosion jet nucleus plasma radiation were studied. It is shown that plasma radiation spectrum consists of a continuous, at the background of which spectral lines of In I and In II are observed. Dielectron recombination is the main mechanism of population of excited states of indium atoms and ions in a laser plasma
