Ion channelling and damage location studies in diamonds

Description

Ion channelling measurements in diamond have been performed with light ions bombarding good quality crystals under various conditions. A study of the resulting radiation damage was included, using the channelling, phenomenon itself, which reveals the lattice location of the displaced carbon atoms
