Investigation of the OZI selection rule for connected quark diagrams in hadronic processes: 2. Search for the OZI-suppressed decay B/b1(1235)→φπ0

Description

A search for the OZI-suppressed decay B/b1(1235)→φπ0 of an isovector meson with quark structure vertical bar(uu-bar-dd-bar)/√2>was carried out in experiments with the LEPTON-F detector. An upper limit on the ratio of its branching fractions, RB=Br[B/b1(1235)→φπ0]/Br[B/b1(1235)→ωπ0]<4x 10-3, is found at a 95% confidence level
