Gasification of indigenous fuels for electric power production at combined power and heating plants
- 1. Teknikgruppen, Sollentuna (Sweden)
Description
It is shown that it is possible to develop gasification technique and commercialize it. The price of electric power is estimated to be below the cost of a coal fired steam turbine. The total capacity could amount to 10-15 TWhsub(el) with heat delivery to district heating and industry. Large plants can be designed by parallel connection of aggregates. In order to introduce the technique, some 3 to 5 years are needed for the development
