Description

A patent is claimed for an invention relating to a system for the suppression of noise and noise fluctuations. The aim of the system is the detection of the signal contained in noise-and-discontinuous signal mixed frequencies. The invention is to be applied in radiation detection. The results of the measurements are reliable for short counting rates, as compared with the time constant of the background noise fluctuations, and for measurements performed in regions having the same background noise average. The diagram, the characteristics and the operation of the invention are described

Un brevet est revendique pour l'invention d'un systeme de suppression du bruit et de ses variations. L'objet de l'invention est la detection d'un signal pur dans un signal discret bruite mesure. Le dispositif peut etre applique dans la detection des rayonnements corpusculaires. Le dispositif est utilisable efficacement lorsque les durees de comptage sont faibles devant la constante de temps de variation du bruit de fond, ou si les comptages se font en des emplacements ou le bruit de fond moyen est identique. Le schema, les caracteristiques et le fonctionnement du systeme sont decrits
