Ultrasoft X-ray emission from atoms and molecules
Description
Ultrasoft x-ray (USX) emission has become a useful source of information on atoms and molecules. Experimental techniques for USX spectroscopy and its application to the study of molecular valence electronic structure, vibrational excitations, core electron binding energies, core state lifetimes and multiple excitation processes are reviewed.
