Extraction of NTcO4 and HNO3 by non-diluted tri-n-octylamine
Creators
Description
The extraction of macro- and microquantities of pertechnetic acid, as well as nitric acid, with undiluted trioctylamine was investigated. It was established that in the extraction of both acids, two organic phases are formed. In the three-phase extraction system, the concentration ratio Ssub(HA)/S in the organic phases is constant. It was shown that the effective exchange constant of HTcO4/HNO3 depends on the degree of saturation of the organic phase with acids. Considering this dependence, the extraction of microquantities of technetium from nitrate solutions with undiluted TOA is described by the same functions as the extraction with a solution of TOA in synthine with additions of octanol
