Description

A series of PtSnMg/Cr2O3·Al2O3 catalysts with different Mg loading amounts were synthetized by chemical co-deposition method and their propane dehydrogenation catalytic performances were tested. The catalysts were characterized by XRD, BET, TG, XPS. It was found that alkali metal Mg can reduce the surface acidity of carrier, improve the catalytic performance. Propane conversion peaks at Mg loading of 0.6wt.%, increasing Mg loading further than this saw a decline in conversion. (paper)
