Development and approval of centrifugal technology for production of high-enriched (>90%) titanium isotopes

Description
The results of the calculation and experimental development of the method wherein the concentration of any obtained Ti isotopes is in the range of 90 - 95 % are given. The gas TiCl4 was used during centrifugal separation of titanium isotopes. Two variants of the method: three-stage method and four-stage one were discussed. The four-stage method proposes previous centrifugal separation of TiCl4 and production of working gas with higher than usual content of the system Ti isotope. Expediency of one way of the method is determined by the system isotope and demands on concentration of the finished product
Abstract (Russian)
Приведены результаты расчетной и экспериментальной разработки метода, при котором концентрация любых полученных изотопов Ti составляет более 90 - 95 %. Газ TiCl4 использовался при центробежном разделении изотопов титана. Рассматривали два варианта метода: трехстадийный метод и четырехстадийный. Четырехстадийный метод предполагает предварительное центробежное разделение TiCl4 и получение рабочего газа с повышенным содержанием целевого изотопа Ti. Целесообразность одного из вариантов метода определяется целевым изотопом и требованием к концентрации конечного продуктаFiles
