Phase relations and thermal expansion studies on thoria based systems - a review
Description
A review on the synthesis, characterization, phase relation and thermal expansion behaviour of thoria based systems viz. (i) ThO2 (ii) ThO2 - CeO2 (iii) ThO2Mn+ (M=Y3+, Sr2+, Ba2+) (iv) ThO2 - M2O3 (M = Nd3+, Eu3+, Gd3+ and Dy3+) and for the compounds of SrThO3 and BaThO3, which are relevant to thorium oxide based nuclear reactors, is reported
