Primary coolant circuit decontamination as preparative measure for reactor dismantling - recommendations and actual experiences

Description
Based on long experience AREVA recommend FSD (full system decontamination) as preparative measure for reactor dismantling. The decontamination should be performed within 5 years after reactor shutdown. Low dose rates and decontamination values can be reached following the DCD (decontamination for decommissioning) concept and the technical decontamination concept of using the NPP systems and AMDA (automatic modular decontamination facility). DCD and AMDA are described in detail.
