Extraction of europium by ethylhexyl-phenyl-phosphonic acid containing zirconium
Description
Extraction of micro- and macroquantities of europium into ethylhexylphenylphosphonic acid containing zirconium versus zirconium concentration in the organic phase was studied. The effect of diluents on the europium distribution coefficients in zirconium ethylhexylphenylphosphonate disolvate was described. Experimental data enabled to assume extraction mechanism of europium with zirconium ethylhexylphenylphosphonate disolvate and the formation of polymeric compounds with zirconium and europium in the organic phase
