Methods for decontamination of radioactive wastes
Description
The treatments for decontamination of radioactive sewage are discussed. The following methods can be used for the decontamination of radioactive sewage: precipitation, vaporization and ion-exchange. The ion-exchange method is discussed in details. The regeneration process of ion-exchange resins is treated. Decontamination by ion-exchange is suggested to be used at low ionic contents of sewages.
