Description
We show that no finite Mueller-Regge model (MRM) of clusters is equivalent to any MRM of their decay products. In particular, independent cluster production calls for only non-negative correlations, whereas we prove that in any nontrivial MRM the numbers of both negative and positive asymptotic correlations are infinite. The proofs are obtained by an investigation of the "pressure" in these models.
