Ordinance of 28 April 1982 on advance financial contributions towards the construction of Federal installations for the safe containment and disposal of radioactive waste

Description

This Ordinance prescribes prepayment of fees to provide for the financial means required to cover the expenses of the Federal repository for radioactive waste in accordance with Section 9a, paragraph 3 of the Atomic Energy Act. This includes costs for research and development in connection with the installation, the price of the site, planning costs, and expenditure for the erection, enlargement and restoration of installations. All holders of a licence in accordance with the Atomic Energy Act or the Radiation Protection Ordinance, and who, in all likelihood, will be obliged to despatch radioactive waste to the Federal repository must pay such advance fees. The Ordinance will remain in force until 31 December 1986 at the latest. (NEA)

Abstract (French)

Le present Decret prevoit le paiement a l'avance de provisions afin de procurer les moyens financiers requis par la creation d'un depot federal de dechets radioactifs, conformement a l'Article 9(a) (3) de la loi atomique. Les frais encourus couvrent les travaux de recherche et de developpement, le prix d'acquisition du site, les couts de developpement et planification, les frais engages par la creation et l'amenagement des installations. Tous les detenteurs d'autorisation au titre de la loi atomique ou du Decret sur la radioprotection ainsi que toutes les personnes supposees etre amenees a confier des dechets au depot federal, sont astreints a ce versement. La duree d'application de ce texte est limitee au 31 decembre 1986
