Hot deformed (Nd,Pr)(Fe,Co)B magnets for low-temperature applications

Description

The newly developed materials based upon the nominal composition (NdxPr1-x)12.9Dy0.4Fe74.3Co6.7B5.7 have shown for x=0.5 that superior magnetic properties can be achieved at 78 K in comparison to Pr2Fe14B, despite a small influence from the spin reorientation transition. Values as high as Br=1.58 T, μ0Hcj=4 T and (BH)max=500 kJ/m3 can be achieved and these make the material very attractive for low-temperature applications
